The Turn On The Subtitles campaign seeks to revolutionize the way children engage with television, doubling the chances of improving their reading skills.
Backed by the likes of Jack Black, Steven Fry, Rachel Riley and even Bill Clinton, the campaign is as simple as it is brilliant: All you have to do is turn on the captions whilst children are watching content on screens and they will read and absorb words without even realizing it.
We’d love your help in communicating the power of subtitles to your students and their families, so we’ve compiled lots of different types of resources below for you to use.
